Trabalho Escravo Contemporâneo: a Nova Face de um Antigo Dilema

O propósito do artigo é analisar a situação do trabalho escravo contemporâneo no Brasil. O trabalho em condições análogas às de escravo, ou trabalho escravo contemporâneo, afronta o ordenamento jurídico brasileiro, desrespeitando os direitos trabalhistas e a Constituição Federal, além de representar verdadeira violação aos direitos humanos. Para realização do trabalho, utilizou-se a pesquisa de campo, bibliográfica e documental. A partir desses instrumentos buscou-se demonstrar os motivos ensejadores do problema no país, os números do trabalho escravo e as formas de combate existentes no Estado Brasileiro. Com a pesquisa foi possível concluir que o problema apresenta números consideráveis, e que, apesar de ser combatido pelo Estado, as questões sócio econômicas fazem com que o problema se renove sempre, criando uma espécie de ciclo vicioso.
